Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be blogging about eotc. It stands for Education Outside The Classroom. It did not feel like were doing work outside the classroom. Because of the fun things we do on those 5 days. We went to Adrenaline Forest, Mega Air, Roller Skating, The Amazing Race, Surfing. Those were super fun. All of them was fun except Roller skating. Athletic

Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be posting about athletics. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves Relay, High jump, Long jump, distance running, Shot put and Discus. All of them were tiring especially distance running. At the end I came somewhere in the top 3 for some. My favourite was high jump it was so fun and I made it in top 3.  I could not find any other picture of me so here is my friend.

Haiku

Hello and welcome to my blog post. 

Today I will be blogging about my haiku. A haiku is a poem with 17 syllables in it and has 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and the final line has 5 syllables.  It describes a moment in time in nature.  

We had to do a haiku for writing time because of the flower festival. We had to do 2. The first one I did was a Wisteria flower and the second was a plum blossom. I liked the Wisteria flower I did for my haiku poem because it looks good. Here is my haiku poem

Athletics High Jump

Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be posting about athletics high jump. 

Yesterday we did athletics high jump we had to jump over a pole that will get higher and higher. The teacher put the pole up three centimetres every time everyone made it. There was a way we had to jump it was the scissor kick its when you put your first leg up that's in front of the pole and your second leg at the will jump. We had to go jump over it at an angle while running. The pole went higher and then the pole snapped because somebody fell on it while jumping. Then the bell rang to go to the next thing we had to do for athletics.

Trusted Trekkers

Today I just became a Trusted Trekker. A Trusted Trekker is about helping others and being respectful. 

When they announced who will be a Trusted Trekker I didn't know that I would be one. It was really exciting when I became one I was second to last to be called up. Almost all my friends was one of them. 

There were seven people who became a Trusted Trekker, including me.

Papier mâché

Hello there and welcome to my blog. Today I will be blogging about paper mache. Me and my friend Love made a paper mache Riroriro, a native bird in New Zealand. We had to make a structure for it the structure was made out of bendable metal. When we were done making it. Both of us was at the next step gluing news paper on with paper mache glue. The glue was really sticky some pieces of paper stuck onto me. We put three layers of news paper on the bird and we are not done yet. here is a picture of it.

Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be blogging about my spelling list 18. It was really easy and I got through really fast. My friend helped me and a teacher helped me. But there was one problem that I struggled on. It took me three days to find it out but I got help. Claire a teacher who helps in room ten helped me on it. Spelling

Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I am going to be blogging about spelling list 8. The spelling was hard I needed help doing it my friend Love and Claire, a teacher in the class, helped me doing it. Number 4 in list 8 was hard I needed to find synonyms in the list words. It took almost a week to do it but I finished it on Wednesday. All the other ones was so easy we got it through it really fast. Here is a picture of the list.

Layers Of The Forest

Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be blogging about my layers of the forest. I did the layers of the forest with my friends I had so much fun. We had to talk about the emergent part of the tree and the canopy layer, under story layer, forest floor layer. The emergent part is the taller trees, the canopy layer is where all the trees are, the under story layers is where your will be, the forest floor is where animals are and bacteria.  Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be blogging about Invertebrates. The invertebrate I will be talking is the Wētā. We had to put on 3 facts and the threats, predators, how to help them, is it a decomposer or a pollinator, what creature it is, the name for it, where it lives, the description of it in the poster. Winter Sports

Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be blogging about winter sports. This year I will be playing soccer like last year. My team will be playing against Hornby Rover at Hornby High school. Our team name is Hornby Phoenix. I am really pumped up for this years winter sports. Last year I was Hornby Rovers. I wonder who will win in the end. Also I took the top that I used last year. I knew which one was the one I use last year because it has a white tag I put on it last year. Here is a picture of my top.

         

Spelling list 13

Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be blogging about my spelling. I am on list 13 almost all of the problems were hard and one of them was easy. Problem 4 on the list was the only was one there that was easy we had to fix the hard spots google helped me. One of the other ones was hard like find the plural form of this word I had a lot of help. My friend Love and Claire ,a teacher in the classroom, helped me on the list. Life Education

 Hello and welcome to my blog post. Today I will be blogging about Life Education. We went to it  yesterday on Thursday. The Life Education was located in a trailer. All of us learned some stuff and played cool games. One of the games was roll the dice when it lands on a picture we have to do the pose. It was very fun there were all kinds of pose like the warrior pose and more. After that we got to see dancing Harold the giraffe the star of the Life Education. We got to do a dance party on our knee's it was fun. Once it was done we had to go to class. Here is a picture of us in Life Education.
